December 23rd, 2005, Christmas at Sheng-Kung

This morming, I woke up very early to finish creating my test for next week's exam. Also, I remembered the first christmas program that I had at Sheng-Kung Girl's High School. It is my first year of teaching in Taiwan. I have been teaching 4 years in United States of America, St. Cloud. I taught Kindergarteen to university. I had so much fun with my students in Taiwan even the education system is so different.

The school stuff did a great job decorating the entire school with x'mas atmosphere. Outside of my office there's a x'mas tree. Also on top of my table, there's candles and flowers. They look nice. It is so peaceful and everybody are so happy to share thier happiness with everyone. My students wrote me a lot of card, I also bought candies and cookies for my 12 classes, there are 300 students total.

I got present from Jojo it is very cute and useful. When I use it, I always remembered of her. I should give to her something next x'mas. More than that, Miso gave to my son, Alan a little calendar, it is so cute and Alan loved it. Also, Andre gave me a nice card, unfortunately, he is not with us anymore.

Also, the foreign teachers: Dusting, Rich, Jojo,and me gave them a little x'mas show. We sang Jingle Bell in all 4 languages, Dutch, non language at all, Philipino, and Spanish. I was in the foreign teacher's show. More than that I performed Chinese show too. We did a little drama, I was the person who need to red the poem with others. The school treats me as foreign teaher and Chinese teacher at the same time. That's why I performed both shows.

Christmas time is so wonderful, I am hopping everyday is christmas.
