Firefly (螢火蟲)

Today is Saturday afternoon, I am sick with deep caugh. David, my husband decided to bring us to see fireflies. It is far away from where we live. The fireflies are in Yujing (玉井). It is located exsaclty in San-Min (三民鄉) county. When we arrived there, we could not see any fireflies, until we asked one of the people who lives there. He told us that everywhere is fireflies, we just need to truned off the lights to able to see it. Also, he told us that we have to go to high mountain to have better view of it.

We went there and we followed what he told us. We turned off the lights and we could really see a lot of fireflies in one mountain. It is so amazing how little flies can have lights on their backs.

Alan and I wanted to catch one of the flies and see how do they look like. After a hard catching, we finally caught one of them. It is a nomal black bees with lights on the back. I can say it is the same look as baby cacaraches.

Three of us were amazed about the view. One of the flies flew on top of Alan's head. Alan was so happy because he said that he took shower before he left, so that's why flies like him a lot.

It was a wonderful experience for all of us. Next year, we will go back again and see more fireflies.
