Typhoon Morakot Day 3
Today is August 8th, this means it is father's day today in Taiwan. Alan has to go to his art, piano and calligraphy classes, so I had to drop him to Tainan city. We left ealy in the morning, because his first class will be at 10:00 A.M. we had to hurry up.
When we arrived to Tainan city, everything seems fine. Alan had his art class. After that, we went for lunch at RT Mart. Over there, we could park the car on the underground, we did not need to worry about bring umbrella or getting wet.
After lunch, we left RT Mart. The wind is getting stronger also it is raining so hard, it is like down pour.
Alan's piano was canced, also his calligraphy class is also canced. We just knew that piano class is canced. We went to Shin-Kung Mitsukoshi department store to buy a present for David. Alan and I parked far away from the store, we both got very wet.
When we arrived over there, we had only two hours to look around what to buy for David. We went to dry first and after that Alan went to the 6th floor to play. After playing, we went to look around for a present.
Alan and I did not know what to buy. Fist we went to see the wallet for men, after that we went to see T-Shirt and finally, we decided to buy a motorcycle for David. He always want a motorcycle 1,000 CC. We do not have money to buy a real one, we went to buy him the model one.
It was really hard to find, finally we asked so many people we found already what we wanted. After we bought a present it is time for us to see a doctor.
After a big dinner for father's day celebration, we went home. On the way home, all the streets in Tainan city and county are like flood. We had to drive through the streets, I was so scared. David drove Nissan sentra and I was driving my CRV. CRV is much higher than Nissan, so I could pass. I was worry about David's car.
I have never seen a real picture in my mind before. This is really much water for me on the streets. Thanks God that my new house is not like this. Also the house we were living is not like that.
Everything can happen with mother nature. I really have a real experience. So does Alan, when we grows up, he will tell his story to his children.
